When charity Zero Carbon World put out a call to developers to develop an open database of electric vehicle charge points, Webprofusion contributed significant technical input to design and develop the backend database schema, web service API (Application Programming Interface), Web App (HTML5 + Mobile) and related content to get the project up and running. The eventual aim of the project is to supply and curate quality charging location data for use in SatNav systems, mobile applications and online mapping services.
Tech Specs : Implemented using ASP.Net 4.0 + Entity Framework, SQL Server 2008 R2, making extensive use of jQuery (Core, jQuery UI and jQuery Mobile), HTML5/Javascript/JSON.

Designed as a concise and informative consumer resource to compare electric car (EV) models and detailed specifications, Electric Car Buyer. The site includes a car feature comparison tool, technical details, news and videos for each car and embedded multimedia narratives on popular models.

When the West Yorkshire Police required a replacement for a spreadsheet based data collection tool they chose Webprofusion to provide a fully featured multi-user database and desktop application.
The system allows information regarding incidents to be recorded and associated witnesses, items of evidence and actions catalogued. Information prepared using the system is then exported to create the necessary forms for court appearances.
