June 2006 - GETS - in Partnership with The Business Exchange
Together with The Business Exchange, Aberdeen (TBEx), Webprofusion have completed the first phase development for GETS, the global software platform for trade exchanges. Over 10 months in development, the GETS software platform has been delivered to the first round of live exchange customers. Customers currently include Trade Exchanges from the US, the Netherlands and Hungary. Webprofusion look forward to expanding on this partnership and our specialized software development services to complement and expand the GETS platform. GETS is quickly being accepted as a leader in the industry and we look forward to helping to increase interoperability between other systems and organizations, as well as helping to form new standards to help drive the Trade Exchange industry forward.
September 2005 - STEPS to further development
Webprofusion have recently been proud participants in the Shell STEP (Shell Technology Enterprise Programme) initiative. We were pleased to provide 8 weeks of fully paid work experience for two students who are both currently studying for degrees in area relevant to our business. We wish our students all the best in their future careers and hope we were able to offer a useful insight into the software development industry. Webprofusion would recommend this programme to any business looking to provide work experience.
July 2005 - Connecting Nokia People Worldwide
In partnership with Looking For Inspiration, Webprofusion have recently completed an exciting new alumni site for past and present Nokia employees: Connected Worldwide. Developed for our client Commonsense Communications, the site utilizes a highly bespoke database driven architecture to accomplish it's design goals.
June 2005 - Strengthening Customer Relationships With Technology
Webprofusion have recently completed a new database system for the Aberdeen based business equipment supplier Grampian Business Products. The project, spanning 6 months of requirements gathering and software development provided the client with a cutting edge tool for customer relationship management. Information from their existing MS Access based system was carried over to a newly designed MS SQL Server database and .Net Windows application, bringing a range of new features and tools to increase their ability to track sales, and to provide new business intelligence features.
January 2005 - Soundshed.com Takes Ecommerce Lead
Soundshed Musicians Classifieds

Soundshed.com is an online musicians classifieds service operated by Webprofusion. We are pleased to announce a new partnership with Prosound Music Ltd who shall be providing delivery fulfillment services for the Soundshed musicians shop, due to launch early in 2005.

The Soundshed service has been running for over 2 years and currently stands as one of the most popular musicians classifieds services in the UK. The service now also covers the United States, with further expansion expected throughout 2005.

October 2004 - New Services: Mobile Application Development

For businesses with a workforce on the move, we can now offer our customers bespoke mobile applications designed to run on Mobile Phones and other handheld platforms.

April 2004 - West Yorkshire Police Choose Webprofusion

SIMS Incident Management SystemWebprofusion Ltd have been chosen by the West Yorkshire Police to develop their Small Incident Management System (SIMS).

The project requires the development of a cost-effective database system for collecting and organising information relating to incidents.
